Vivienne Flesher

Vivienne Flesherеs illustrations can be found in Newsweek, TIME, Rolling Stone and The New York Times. Her work has been exhibited in Asia, Europe and the United States. She has illustrated three childrenеs books: AN MEI''S STRANGE AND WONDROUS JOURNEY by Stephen Molner-Fenton, SANCTUARY by Paul Monette, and LULLABY RAFT by Naomi Shihab Nye. A world-wide traveler, she has lived in Manhattan, Tokyo, Venice and now resides in San Francisco.

Gregory Christie received a B.F.A from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 1993, but his interest in arts extends back into his childhood. He remembers being as young as five years old and copying characters from comic books. "Even then," he stated, "I always felt a sense of joy from painting and drawing."

Nathalie Novi is a pastelliste, an illustrator who works almost exclusively in pastels -- in Nathalies case, these would seem to be magical pastels, which imbue her illustrations with the vibrant light of a late summer afternoon, and which allow her to bend the law of gravity

Mike Wimmer was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma where he grew up like most boys: playing hard, fighting sleep, reading comic books and dreaming. His art development, with the help of comic books and boy''s adventure stories, was well nourished and supplied by his parents who themselves had no knowledge or understanding of such talents.

Jim LaMarche says that he grew up in a nice little Norman Rockwell-esque town called Kewaska, Wisconsin. Fittingly, his father was a high school biology teacher and his mother taught elementary school.

Gerard DuBois was born in Paris, France in 1968. He studied at Ecole Superierure of Arts Estienne and L.E.I. Rue Madam in Paris. After five years he graduated in 1989 and then crossed the Atlantic to live in Montreal. His editorial artwork has received numerous awards from the Canadian Magazine Awards and American Society of Newspapers.
