In 1922, the first Hollywood Bowl audience, sitting on wooden benches, heard the inaugural performance of the Los Angeles Philharmonic under the stars at the Hollywood Bowl. The Bowl, created in one of the world''s largest natural amphitheaters, has since become a beloved mainstay of Los Angeles culture. Each summer thousands of patrons converge upon the outdoor theater to hear the Los Angeles Philharmonic as well as famous musical artists. Legends who have performed at the Bowl include Frank Sinatra, Barbara Streisand, the Beatles, Jim Morrison...
