Direction: Hwy 14 toward Palmdale, follow Hwy 14 north through Palmdale, Lancaster, connect with 395 north past Mojave; past Long Pine, Big Pine and Bishop. Past Tom,s Place and Crowley Lake until on Mt.Morrison Rd. just before Convict Lake which is before the Mammoth Lakes turnoff (300 ml from LA). Mt.Morrison Rd  lead us to the SNARL research facilities and camp 9 Bishop  Shell gas station at the junction of 395 and Hw 6. At 31.3 mls you will pas a turnoff signed "Crowley Lake  Drive/Long Valley". The turn to SNARL, Mt.Morrison Rd is the next turn to the left, at 32.5 miles. 1 mile more. Distance from Bishop to  SNARL - at Hw 6 -: Barlow signal -  1.5 ml, Crowley Lake Drive/ Long Valley - 31.3 mile Mt.Morrison Rd 32.5 ml). Regional map.
